So twas the night of October 30th, 2009. And I had work from 9 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon. I counted down the hours until that shift was done. No one in that store but myself knew what I was going to do once I walked out those doors. No one in that store knew who i was once i walked out those doors. I am to the core of my being forged am steel. Now among other things I am a Klokateer. I am a hardcore and dedicated Dethklok fan. And Once I walked out those doors closed I was myself again. I was a Klokateer and this night was to the lords of metal, the most brutal band in the world, Dethklok. I took the 4 something train to go to penn station, New York, New York. At the train station in Kings Park I met my good friend and her friend and we chilled and talked and enjoyed one another companies. We got to the venue, needless to say I probably would have liked to been there a bit earlier. My friend was concerned we were gonna miss the show. Now mind you she is two years younger then me and so I explained that I have been in much worse lines and worse comes to worse we miss the first band. In which case isn't so bad because High on Fire is not that great in my eyes. Now not meaning to judge for those who are fans but I never saw the talent in them. So we got in the show and much to my dismay had to part ways but she was on the first balcony and i was on the the second. So i went up up up and she went...Well maybe one floor. So I directly walked to the end of the balcony where the railing is so I could be as close to the show as possible. There I became good friends with a couple of hardcore fans like myself who were from New Hyde Park, about a 30minute train ride from where I live. Needless to say the next band to come on was this band called Converged. Now in the past six years I have seen a great deal of metal bands. And Converged was by far one of the worst bands i have ever seen. Mah boyz from New Hyde felt it too we created quite the scene from the second balcony. When they finally got off we all let out a sigh of relief. The next band up was Mastodon. Now Mastodon I had seen in 2005 and they were not that impressive. Now it would appear that I had made a mistake on that critique. While mastodon was not heavy they certaintly were a decent put together band. Their riffs were pretty mystical and I did feel very rocked by what went on. So FINALLY the moment of truth it was now time for Dethklok. Now being the factor the band is a cartoon but the music is real we get our little clips and what not. Before they went on they had this hilarious back stage clip which included a special cameo. Can you guess? It was Eddie from jack black's latest game Brutal Legend. They opened and from opening to closing I was on my feet and screaming my brains out. Throwing horns throwing fists, shouting lyrics. I was entranced. I don't think besides a select few bands have I ever seen a band so well put together and so tight. They sounded so amazing, better then they were two years ago when I saw them a day before I graduated highschool. My that was a fun night. The show was truly amazing and I will not soon forget it. So i went down to get my merchandise on, I never leave without my tour shirt. Needless to say the stand was swamped but I fought my way to the front. We caught the 11:42 train home and I was more then satisfied with the night. Upon parking my car I saluted the full moon and said happy halloween.

So the day of Halloween. I had no idea what I was gonna do. Eventually I was thinking about winging and going to a club and hitting a party which I was originally going to go with a friend to but he opted out. So I asked my friend olivia what she was doing. She informed me that she was going to some party but was not sure about going. I told her well look that leaves us both without plans and so I told her she should come down and spend halloween with me. So we finalized the plans while i was at work and she took the train and chilled at the station until I got off of work. I picked her up and the fun began. We went home so i could get changed. She went as a were wolf and i was a cat, which is becoming a more and more recent appearence of my wardrobe. We went out to the movies to see Saw VI. That was a most awesome movie and in both of our minds the best Saw to date. So originally she was gonna go home late that night, but the weather turned for the worse and I didn't feel right to have her go home in such weather so she stayed the night. We just chilled on the couch and watched My Neighbor Totorro and some television. Then we passed out. And so here I am, overrall it was a very good night and I look forward to her return. The past two days have been rather well.
